A core principle behind all No Tyrants and No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Safety marshals and a first aid responder will be available throughout the event.
On March 28, we will launch our march with one of the songs that has emerged from the Singing Resistance, drawing particular attention this winter when 2000 Minneapolitans sang it in front of hotels occupied by ICE. Words and tune (by Annie Schlaefer and Sarah Burgess) are extremely simple, and can be learned ahead of time.
